This Bottle Saves Lives was a campaign for Engineers Without Borders. The project included generating an idea for how to raise awareness for the organization with the goal of raising funds for upcoming well-building campaigns around the world. The end project generated custom reusable water bottles emblazoned with the statistic “884 million people do not have access to clean water.” The campaign built around the bottles involved “This Bottle Saves Lives” as a tag, with the reverse explaining the purpose of the purhcase and what funds generated would be used toward. The end result allowed the organization to raise money, reduce plastic use, and raise awareness. The bottles worked as tiny ads for the issue and for themselves – guerilla marketing at its finest.
